This 5 tracks album of swiss artist D'incise shows, in an eclectic and coherent way, the universes and atmospheres he evolved in during spring and summer 2007. With inspiration and experiences ranging from almost ambient improvisations to musique concrete, passing through free noise and abstract audio-acoustic experiments, and his use of sounds from daily life or more special occasions (including a culture of rats neurons), D'incise offers three quarters of dense and sometimes frightening avant-garde music.

"plaisir capharnaüm" (15'17):
Tranposition d'un amour pour le collectage d'objets héteroclites, une ancienne ferme et sa grange.
Métaux épars, outillage, verres, electro-ménager et bouviers bernois de quelques jours à peine.
Dedié à la famille Lacroix à Contigny près de Saint-Pourçain-sur-Sioule dans l'Allier.
"sitcom ou le passage au noir impromptu" (4'17):
"sitcom" est une pièce basée sur des enregistrements des sons anodins (interieur et exterieur d'une maison communautaire, de nuit, bruit de pas, couloir, appareils ménager, sursaut de voix, feu),
Elle tente de devellopper un discours à partir d'un presque rien banal.
Les actions sont brèves, les chutes arrivent tout aussi vite, la pièce s'entrecoupe de passages au noir, relancant ou non sur le même terrain le mirroir du quotidien.
"sitcom" s'écartelle entre les masses issues de filtrages et les sons concrêts, la direction oscillant des uns aux autres.
Afin de créer des effets de masses, certaint sons sont superposés un nombre de fois important, pitchés selon des intervalles de 1.1, 2.2, 3.3, 4.4, 5.5, 6.6, 7.7, 8.8, 9.9, 10.10, 11.11, 12.12, 13.13, 14.14, etc.
Logique non musicale qui pourtant le semblerait à un enfant.
La fin n'en est pas une, ouvert sur une suite au prochain épisode.
"ES" (9'36):
construction autour d'une partition MIDI aux allures aléatoires générée à partir d'enregistrements d'activités d'une culture de neurones de rats.
balancant entre concept et réhumanisation de celui-ci.
"anonymes" (9'13):
Lent mouvement d'une masse grouillante et grincante, une recherche drone, sons à l'archet, parasité par des accidents percussifs.
"entre les étages" (4'57):
Initialement réalisé pour un court métrage de Maya Kosa.
Ambiance angoissante et plaintes obsessionnelles d'ascenseurs.

D'incise is a member of the audioactivity collective from geneva. in 2002 he starded to produce different kinds of electronic music, from dub to electronica, dangerously sliding to the more experimental ways of electroacoustic. his world is made with sound fractures, nevralgic crepitations, melancolic atmospheres and a non-dissimulated fascination for rust and faded rhythms.
in live, he works mostly in improvisation, collaborating with a few electronic or acoustic musicians (Cyril Bondi, Christian Graf, Nicolas Sordet, Johann Bourquenez, Eric Pailhé, Aymeric de Tapol, Fabien Duscombs, Larkian, Gavin Prior, Tzii, Krzysztof Gavlas, Crashbonsai, Dragos Tara, Guillaume Lantonnet, Christophe Berthet, Gael Riondel, Sylvain Darifourcq, Marc Perenoud...). His music is unstable, close to electro acoustic, working with textures, breaks, tensions and spectral atmospheres. He is looking for a type of reactive playing technic, distanced from the constraints of the machine. through his live sampling, he tries to undo the distinction between the acoustic instruments and the computer, blurring your perception in order to force the audience to detach itself from its visual landmarks in order to listen more actively and independently.
in an another style, d'incise present a solo live act, closer of electronica, where he operates fluctuations suites of rythmic pulsions, simple melodies and noise waves for a destroyed dancefloor.
