| release notes: Tlön 5 is a trio, and started as a 3 concerts project from december 12th to 14th 2003 in Toulouse. The first day, at Bicoq, with Eric Pailhé (tenor sax, turntables and fx) and Johann Bourquenez (piano, synth and fx), then the next day these two plus Roger Cazenave (bass and synth) and DJ Akro (turntables), and the last night as a sextet with Toma Gouband (drums) and Jean-Marc Serpin (double bass). As there were a good energy, a studio session was made (at La Raspalha, Toulouse). Takes were made in one day with Eric Pailhé, Johann Bourquenez and Roger Cazennave. Some improvized parts were isolated and mixed (#03, Maxicut "Deluxe"), others were remixed at home, by cutting different takes and play them together, and by creating some rythms or textures loops, for finally get a 17 minutes suite in two parts (17 minutes éléctroniques). |
